Here we are...the first day of Fall...another Summer season has come and gone. Now as we know...if you have been outside this morning....nothing is really different than it was yesterday...its another beautiful summer like morning and going to be that kind of day...but...we also know that changes are coming. Little by little day by day...changes to the weather and ole planet earth are going to change big time and yes...before we know it...Winter will be here. As we look around this morning. We still see the green grass...the foliage on the trees and shrubs are green and the air is warm. But in the days to come....the grass will start to turn...the trees turn to their fall colors and the landscape of the ole earth will become beautiful in a whole different way...day by day dropping their leaves as everything goes into hibernation for the cold days ahead. So as i sat outside this morning enjoying my coffee and watching the squirrels running around gathering food to store for winter...i was thinking about my walk with Jesus and if that was a consistent walk...or..if i was somewhat like the seasons. Do i walk hand in hand on that path of righteousness each day making my yes a yes and my no a no. Am i hot one day and cold the next. Do people see Jesus in me for this period of time but at other times im acting and being just like the world. Is my walk with Jesus pleasing to Him each and ever day or do i change like the seasons and that on fire believer i was back when i first got saved...has he become dormant in service to God and others. So as we go from this summer season into Fall with winter just around the corner...How is your walk...your relationship with Jesus. Think about it!
