I dont deny that there is a large prison labor force out there, but if the Farm Bill passes and a lot less people go to prison for drug offenses, I am willing to bet there is still a large population inside the prison walls to draw from. I dont see that being much of an issue myself.

Well, they'll just have to put to work the ones that don't work in prisons by creating better incentives I suppose. Marijuana offenses will still be arrestable after passage of the Farm Bill since the Farm Bill pertains to low-THC cannabis (less than .03%). The States Act, which is also bipartisan, will allow states to do their own thing federally in regards to marijuana, and the Marijuana Justice act, which the Democrats are pushing, would cease most marijuana arrests thus reducing the current prison labor population. I suppose different legislation could always be drafted that would create another means of filling up those prisons, but I feel that federal marijuana legalization will result in an overall net decrease in the prison labor population size, and it would be a real burden for the Business Giants that are making use of the sweat shop labor in the private prisons in accordance with the 13th Amendment. Either way, it would be a net decrease in revenue for those 50 or so corporations that love to utilize the slave labor in the prisons.
