I personally would prefer a larger and less volatile partner (e.g., GM, Chrysler, Honda), but the proximity of LAC to Tesla makes it an expected deal. I assumed that it would happen when I invested in LAC, so I will accept it. It is also interesting to see another Chinese company get a big chunk of USA lithium...
