It's rarely EVER a good idea to buy before an RS. The stock usually tanks going into the RS and usually continues to drop coming out of it. Sure, your shares will have a higher share price after the RS but with a 100 for 1 RS you are going to have 99% fewer shares. I recall another stock that did a 500 for 1 RS and the stock went from .0001 to .05 but after the RS it quickly dropped right back to .0001 so the stock lost over 99% of it's value in a very short time.
Is an RS ALWAYS bad for a shareholder? No. but in the majority of cases it is. Just as in the majority of cases a restaurant fails within a year. Not always, but most of the time.

Remember that when someone tries to convince you to buy or sell there is something in it for them. It's not because they are concerned about your investment.
