Two weeks after application they appointed Dr. Maroon to fullfil Nasdaq requirements for 'independent board majority'. I'm guessing that Nasdaq got back to them with check list.
I agree that if Nasdaq wanted to reject application, it would be already done.

From the PR dated 8/8/18:
"His appointment also satisfies the listing requirements for an independent board majority and advances our plans for a Nasdaq uplisting."
