If only a couple of inches caused all these problems imagine what the recent rainfall in the Carolinas would do. Altho to be fair the ground is and has been saturated for a while now. No ground absorption leads to all run off and big problems as we are seeing. Only positive note is all the aquifers have most likely been refilled to the brim. No well water shortages for years hopefully.
