The management of AAPH have failed to respond to the SEC requests about delinquent filings. Over a 4 year period there have more then likely been more then one warning letter. Either the management has ignored the warnings or the address last supplied to the SEC by AAPH is defunct.
Suspending tickers for delinquent filings is the easiest method in its arsenal the SEC has to get rid of garbage tickers like AAPH. Its pretty much black and white, easy peasy.
Shortly after the suspension is over AAPH will be revoked by the SEC. After the ten day suspension its matched trades only for AAPH until it gets revoked. No bids no asks.

By checking the SEC website enforcement section you will find the SEC is on a rampage right now suspending hundreds of garbage tickers just like AAPH recently.
