For me, the gratification is two fold. I like doing the digging when I have the time and it's always fun to be the first to find some new dirt. It's kind of like the investigative reporter breaking a hot story type thing.

But, above and beyond that, it does serve a public interest too. Hopefully, we will at least cause people to question their investment and for those who have not already invested in the stock, hopefully they will think twice.

Generally speaking, the longs are blinded by desire to see the stock do wonderful things for them and as a result they post only positive stuff about the company. Hence, the bashers, post only negative in order to offset all the so called good. That way, a potential investor can see both sides of the coin prior to making a decision as to whether or not to put their money in the stock.

If after reading both sides of the story they still put their money in it...well, then they have nobody to blame but themselves. It's not like the info wasn't there for them to see.
