Conversely, the reverse is also true...

...with longs holding hundreds of millions of shares...they can't ever really sell in this illiquid market without tanking the share price.


Hence, the only hope for such longs, is for oil to be found or for a company, like Total, to buy out ERHC.

So long time holders, don't even need a special "pact", they simply cannot sell such a large volume of shares all at once.

So here we are...

...sort of a stalemate...but maybe, when you throw in the Offor factor, really it's checkmate.
