If that setup gives you the confidence to pull the trigger, and wins more than it loses? It's worth keeping.
I'll go easy with one thought. Back testing is easy and accurate. I have found from trading in real time, that false signals are a problem.
IOW, if the pps were to go up, it's only reasonable that the moving aves would too. The shortest, 4 would go faster than the longer term and be more likely to cross, if they were close? (look for intertwining aves to increase the chances)
I've seen it more times than I can count on all my fingers and toes. On a daily chart, when the pps rises significantly? The bullish crossovers happen. IF the pps stays high, it will show that way after the close. If it doesn't, your left holding a bag. You can't see that when back testing.
