Disruptive App based consumer engagement platform designed to enable small and growing brands to build a critical mass of active followers and customers.

To exploit a rapidly growing global market opportunity I jointly founded Numbers with the commercial and technical teams. Asked to lead the business, I put the initial structure and plan in place within days and went on to develop the full business plan and product offering before the end of 2017 – 5 weeks in total from start to finish.

2018 has been focused on leading the business forward to break even within 12 months of being established:
1. Leading and supporting the sales team to generate over £7m in advance customer commitments to multi-year contracts to date and growing.

2. Ensuring the initial customer revenues are being generated and are as profitable as expected – they are.

3. Working with the technical team to finalise the version 1.0 release of the solution specifications for the consumer and business markets.

4. Finalising budgets across the business, ensuring they are adequate and flexible enough for a rapidly growing business but do not stress the finances of the company unnecessarily.

5. Developing a simple and easy to follow story supported by a strong and clear brand – always a challenge with technology products.

6. Prioritising and managing the implementation of complex standards and processes like GDPR which are critical to both the security of the business and our customers.

Numbers is currently a small team. Everyone involved is multi-tasking which adds a new dimension to managing and leading both internal and external members of the overall business team - especially when we are working across a number of sectors and geographies with differing priorities from the outset
