Since China is snapping up as much of the Battery Metals necessary for the batteries that will drive the Electric Revolution (vehicles, Data Canters, homes etc) Angela Merkel is pushing for Europe to secure its own supplies so as not to put European manufacturers at a competitive disadvantage.
