Yes, 007 . . . SNAP is the main thing weighing this bill down. However, a secondary issue is being raised by my own Senator, Mitch McConnell (a strong advocate of hemp growing). He is trying to add to the bill a clause saying no person who has ever had a felony could farm/raise hemp. I'm not sure if he is doing this to assuage the 'fear' or 'religious' crowd to appease them, or if he can't grasp that the hemp to be grown does not have THC in it. Apparently, he thinks this could open up the possibility that former drug dealers would now want to raise this crop in order to perpetuate MJ use! I think a lot of the sponsors are not lining up with him on this, and I hope they thwart it. This mandate would not be needed.

And "AD2000" . . . you are right about this being akin to Prohibition days. Once we can get over the hump from the 'fear factor' and they get this passed, we should all see tremendous financial days ahead.

I'll be glad when Sep. 30 rolls around!!!
