I'm the one asking some pretty naive questions, so please bare with me.....

I have wondered if Citron is required to hold a short position on a stock so that they can try bashing it to reduce the price to buy more shares?

It just seems like Tilray and Cron and AMD are being targeted by folks like CITRON//Andrew Short, but I would think it would open them//him up for a "defamation of character counter--suit"......unless he was a shareholder and it's ok to pout about your stock not doing well??

And at that point it still wouldn't be sensible because what he succeeded and tanked the company completely in which he had shares??????

Does anyone have the FINRA or SEC information on how this is possible? If so, anyone could just go out and make up a bunch of lies with the hopes of catching people off guard to panic and sell their shares in a company????
