Theoretically, the DEA must move CBD from Schedule I to at least Schedule III/IV within 90 days from 6/25/18. (by 9/25/18).
The government has admitted Epidiolex (MJ-derived CBD) DOES have a medical use. Therefore CBD cannot remain schedule one.
On top of that, the farm bill should be out of committee soon, and will "likely" legalize all hemp farming, hemp products, and CBD products nationwide, AND remove same from the drug schedule entirely once signed into law by POTUS. I expect that to occur well before the mid term elections, so within 30 days or so.
Now I understand these hemp/CBD changes do not DIRECTLY benefit actual cannabis and THC products. However, it is a HUGE step moving the bar on the sector. And it "might" bring more attention to the entire sector and major news networks "should" cover the story in depth.
I think all this will provide at least a minor catalyst and benefit to TRTC.
Thoughts?
