Tuesday...the second day of the work week for most...another day of retirement for many...and...a day of school for the rest. So where ever you are this morning...let me ask you a question. Are you planning this day...are you willing this day...to look for every opportunity to serve the lord and to serve others...or...are there just too many other things on your agenda? Are you willing to open your eyes...ears...heart and mind to see the hurt and loneliness and lostness of the people you come in contact with again this day to reach out...in Jesus name...and do what you can to comfort...pray for...and witness about the love and saving grace and hope of Jesus Christ? Or...are you more interested in that promotion...water-cooler talk...that game tonight...where you are going to spend your next vacation? So many folks that profess to be believers...and we talk about and look upon a lost and dying world everyday...but...what are we doing to actually try and lift people up...encourage them...and most importantly...witness to them of how Jesus can change their lives. Listen...here in Tennessee...in the Bible belt...it is said that 65% of the people are unsaved..the real number is probably more unsaved. In many areas of the USA the number is far greater...70%...80% unsaved...because in all these numbers...there is a big difference in calling ones-self a "christion" and actually being "born-again!" God is calling us to leave our comfortable Christianity behind and tell someone that Jesus loves them and wants to save them. Will you do it...or...will you be too ashamed? Yes i know...that is strong words...but...for those we love...and hold dear...and are proud of...friends and family...we talk about them all the time...is it that way with Jesus...are we telling our little piece of the world about Him? Let this be the day we start bringing the light of Jesus Christ to our work place...dorm...our neighborhood...our sports team...wherever God has placed you. Question..Question..what did Jesus mean when He said..."Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."
