1) over the years VisualMED has invested $50-$60 million in a suite of clinical modules,
2) although VisualMED was not successful in implementing its clinical modules in hospitals and clinics, it still owns a very large medical database worth tens of millions,
3) the next big thing in clinical automation is Artificial Intelligence and it's happening in Montreal where VisualMED is located,
4) VisualMED has always been able to set up joint-ventures with some the largest companies and institutions: Cardinal Health, McGill University, Verizon, Lockheed Martin, The State of Maryland etc.
5) in the past 4-5 years the company was supported by loans from company officials; you don't put in that much money if you don't expect to earn it back,
6) the VMCS share structure is very interesting and the free float is limited to 91 million shares; any news about a merger or take-over will lead to an exploding SP.
