They cal it a vaccine but is is really a treatment. I do not think it will stop you from getting the cancer but it slows it down so your PSA rise is stable or lower. I had the cancer and had mine removed. I would of loved to try this. One of the main treatments is watchful waiting and it would be used in those cases. I guess someday it could prevent it all together.
