Hi Al, I can't speak for the rest of the NFL teams, but here in DC, the Redskins low attendance is due to:

1. lack of loyalty - I dont think there's anyone who was on the team 5 years ago who is still playing. I think we've had something like 8 quarterbacks in the past 10 years too.

2. Getting to and from FedEx sucks. I mean 10 years ago you could at least count on Sunday traffic on the beltway - now the beltway is busy 7 days a week. Even on sundays if a lane is shutdown it causes a backup. I think travel to and from the game takes as long as the game itself.

3. The cost of going. I think buy the time you're done its $200 per person. In iffy weather. Stay home and watch the game for free and eat 10 bucks worth of food

4. millenials - dont have the money and would rather be able to watch Red Zone before, during, and after the game.
