Yes, I was fortunate I didn't have to get a loan. I try to stay debt free except for my house payment which I have gotten down to a very low monthly amount. I move back into my own house which I had let my daughter's family live in when I moved to Brazil many years ago. When I returned from Brazil, I didn't make them move. I leased a place only 3 miles from here until such time as they were able to buy a home north of the city. I just moved back in here, and with that - tons of stuff to repair, paint, replace etc. The car repair was to my 2001 Miata which had to have a new radiator, new hoses, new timing belt, new water pump, new thermostat, new head, etc. I did it all because the car was nearly mint condition before the radiator blew out with no warning on the interstate. Oh well.

I'll rebuild the account - but going to take some time.
