These are quotes from an interview that I just heard with a Carolina resident. Now, imagine if they rely on Solar Panels or Wind Turbines that can easily be destroyed in a hurricane. Not only would authorities have to re-install poles and wires but they would have to re-build the Solar Panels and Wind Turbines. With nuclear all you need is the poles and wires to be reconnected. A nuclear power plant easilly survives a hurricane so unlike Solar and Wind Turbines the POWER SOURCE does not have to be rebuilt.

Which do you think this resident would prefer?
