Everything Zimmer was doing in trabecular metal spine looks like 50% porous Valeo. Yes, I don't think Zimmer needed any of the patents for Valeo in the direction they are going. If Osseus is a front man for Zimmer it looks to be a superior development of 50% porosity. We still don't know what the CTL monet will look like and whether it will be inspiring in design or what they are planning for future designs using Silicon Nitride. If people could naysay C+CSC saying ceramics would shatter, keep away from my spine, Then a 50% porosity implant would compound upon this fear. I would trust the C+CSC but would have to see how the 50% porosity unit held up to the stress test of a hydraulic press, visually to ease my fear in my monkey brain.
