I live in a apartment building. Today I just happen to be at my mail box along side with a neighbor of mine. The post office employee handed my neighbor a package from Amazon and told us both that from now on Amazon packages might take a little longer getting to us because Amazon is now using independent drivers and not the post office anymore.

Sounds like the real deal to me.
