What fantastical assertions you have al

Mark was fired for being unable to produce a salable product despite more than eight years of effort.

Erm no he wasn't. He has retired, will continue to be associated as CTO Emiritus and will enter into a consulting agreement to provide services on an as needed basis.

It was obvious from the beginning that the two of them did not see eye-to-eye and instead of simply moving Mark out of the CEO's position he should have been let go at the same time as Amanda.

Erm, moving Mark from CEO to CTO was actually a fairly standard move to have him avoid all the admin and paperwork of a Nasdaq company and let him concentrate on the technology. Its common sense and a better use of employee resources wouldn't you say?

Now, with the dilution vote looming

Its hardly the end of the world so called 'dilution vote'.. its not even dilution, its increasing authorised shares (yes there is a difference until it gets executed). The authorisation is not crucial for the company, yet including it in a shareholder proxy now is fairly standard and prudent management due to the potential outcomes in the next year (they can be both positive and negative)

When Vivek left similar 'the world has ended' posts were made (and amusingly by similar people who have sat here for years pretending to be innocent voyeurs who just have to much time to waste, or too little bread to bake. or too mush at stake to allow the PPS to go upwards) The patents didn't disappear, Vivek, despite another role has been mentioned in recent history as still advising and helping Sigma labs. Him and Mark still own a very large shareholding, that is the most important thing to remember. They still have a vested interest in success in Sigma Labs and it seems they will both be collaborating as consultants as things move forward.

This will be a test of Sigma as a company, to see if it really has moved to a different stage, whether the future of the company lies more in a software paradigm, building on the material physics side that has created the core of PR3D.

The end of Sigma Labs it is not. I would be a lot more worried if he was fired, sold all his shares and refused to help. As it is, he has retired with emiritus, agreed to remain as a consultant and a big incentive to keep helping to enrich his shareholding.
