here's my take on it

First they did the RS. The chart you have shows the retro prices.

Then came the cease trade order at CSE because the fins were messed up.

The blank on the CSE:ISOL chart is the time period it was halted at CSE.

IS WAS NOT HALTED at OTC.

They sometimes do that. Sometimes they'll halt both markets, and sometimes only one market.

Quite often when CSE is halted and OTC is not, the OTC side will run the price up, in a closed bubble if you will.

poor little otc mm's only carry the inventory they carry, and if the larger canadian market is closed or halted, and otc can't transfer orders or shares to/from CSE, it's easier to overwhelm them and all they can do to keep shares is to keep raising the price. They can't go running to CSE to balance orders and inventory.

If it goes on long enough it can get ballistic.

Now, many days later when the halt is lifted the CSE mm's (shorts) and canadian traders are still looking at the old price they left it at when it was halted. They don't care if OTC ran the price up, they'll just quickly sell off to overpriced OTC and the price ends up back where it started before the halt.

Among all that they had a favorable earnings report that was probably the catalyst for the run at OTC.

Personally I have cashed in on this arbitrage play several times on these dual ticker stocks whenever the CSE side is closed and the OTC side left open.

We have a few holidays that this happens on as well.

One of them is #BoxingDay when 12/26 falls on a weekday.

Where does it go from here?

I have not much faith in ISOL... it always seems to sell off on news almost immediately and never seems to hold... hence the roller coaster chart.

I hated the RS... DUMB MOVE. Completely lame the bad fins that caused the cease trade order.

I for some reason like the company story, and the numbers are getting better all the time, imo.

The stock just hasn't performed to my liking and I have mostly avoided it other than flipping the news from time to time (like everyone else).

I keep it on my lists just in case.
