Excellent, thanks Orangecat. I read the study again (not just the conclusion) and understand better what they were dealing with, and that explains the less dramatic/clear-cut results. Perhaps your better point is CTSO's application is not limited to sepsis, though that's been the (seemingly) primary focus since the MSBT era. Now I have to keep up with all the cancer and CART stuff, which is fantastic, CTSO is not dependent on just one pathology or line of attack. Higher highs coming, irrational exuberance pales beside rational expectation.
