My sister just died from pancreatic cancer that had probably been looming for 3-4 years. By the time it was discovered, even chemotherapy failed to do anything for her except make her sicker and sicker until she decided to go into Hospice care because she could no longer fight or take the pain. Early detection would mean she would probably still be with us. She was only 30. Cancer is cancer and if OvaDx leads to the detection of other cancers, it would change the world...and ease the heartbreak.
