What’s am mm pro? Seriously I’d like to know your opinion; not fact becuase none exist....but hypothetically what is it?

Personally an mm is a market maker. He makes market. If you want to sell and he has buyers he will do best to facilitate trade. Sometimes it is at cost you 100 people buy 1000 shares at $4 and 1 sells 4milliion shares at ?
That is a market maker as i understand it?
