My Dr. at City of Hope is open to the potential benefits cannabis may bring and while he didn't prescribe it, he didn't discourage me in any way from trying it for certain side effects to the chemo and other meds I'm on. It's hard to say if I've had substantial benefit, but I've gotten no real advice from experts on how much of what to take, or how to take it. Thus far, I've taken products that are mostly CBD, but have some THC, and I've hardly noted anything from them, certainly no major high. I suspect that what's being administered in medical trials may be substantially higher dosing levels than what I'm taking, and the results may be far greater.
