Tortious interference, also known as intentional interference with contractual relations, in the common law of torts, occurs when one person intentionally damages someone else's contractual or business relationships with a third party causing economic harm

One example:
1. Sending anonymous packages to the Mayor of Farmers Branch on a development UDF would be the lender. The Mayor pressures Moyoadi to replace UDF as a lender. That seems textbook case of tortious interference.

There’s more examples that are much more obvious. Read Greenlaw’s affidavit. He lists several examples of how Bass’ actions caused UDF to either lose money on loans, lost interest income when the banks pulled lines of credit, and examples where they lost business from future developers.

From memory, adding his examples will easily add up to the hundreds of millions of dollars over three years.
