I agree- they haven’t claimed damages yet. We are still in the early stages. The first hurdle is getting through Bass motion to dismiss based on anti-slapp. UDF won that first round and now needs to work through Bass appealing that decision. I would guess the appeal will take up to a year. If UDF prevails on appeal then the lawsuit will continue.

It will be a long process. It’s hard to handicap what will happen but I think UDF has a better than 50% chance of either winning or forcing Bass into a nice settlement.

I think the lawsuit has real merit.
