I have had a Dell G7(i7-8750) 15 inch for almost two months with an Nvidia
GTX 1060Q ; overall very pleased, Fans only come on with heavy workload. Screen is only mediocre but I usually hook up to a 4K screen or T.V. which it drives easily, I do not game . I did some video editing with Vacation files, performance was as good as my Desktop P.C. with I5 four core and GTX 1070. Apple is in dire need of an upgrade cycle in almost all their laptops and P.C.s, mac mini is looking very stale; nothing at today's event only expensive phones and definitely overpriced watches, the faithful will buy, the upgrade cycles for phones is definitely spacing out. I think 5G if done right will be the next big upgrade cycle, my 3 year old iphone 6 plus is still going strong, battery life still good, I find it hard to justify a new phone.
