Gastar Exploration +11%, says will consider restructuring deal proposals

Gastar Exploration (NYSEMKT:GST) +11.7% premarket after saying it is considering potential strategic transactions, including financing, sale or merger deals, and is encouraging proposals from existing stakeholders and interested third-parties.
GST said last week that it was considering a restructuring and received a non-binding preliminary term sheet from funds affiliated with Ares Management proposing a potential restructuring through a sale.
