This was my entire question, with explanation:

“Why would the stock price rise? It’s the outcome of that appeal that matters. The news is that we are still moving toward that.
I don’t think most of us expect the stock price to move on news shared by us.”

If you read between the lines, you would have known that it was’t a question about the technicals that make a stock price move, but about why you would expect the demand to increase based on that news.
