Who received an original copy of that email? Can you copy and paste the internet header information for review? If you have Outlook open the email into its own window - click file properties- the properties window should have all the sending server information in the "internet headers" box. copy and paste it for my review.

I can trace the sending mail path back to them if you can send it to see if it is ligament.
