The "demo" is selling MJ across state and country lines...

The "demo" is not doing anything. It's a piece of software. It just sits there. When asked, it processes data and facilitates transactions that's all.

There's no indication there is any intent by the Company to use it to engage in or foster illegal behavior across state lines.

It may be premature to rule out intra-state transactions. If the server and transactors are in the same State, it would depend on state regulations as to whether the activities were consistent with individual state laws.

It may also be premature to rule out intra-state transactions. Some states have reciprocal relationships. Michigan, for example, has reciprocity with Montana and Rhode Island. Hence, an argument might be made that transactions between MI and RI or MT residents are allowed because they are consistent with the requirements in both states. Albeit, transportation across state lines could cause an issue.

As for cross-country sales, if America ever pulled its collective head out of its ass, it might realize there's a robust international cannabis industry (both medical and recreational) emerging and the US isn't part of it.

With that said, do I see much value in this endeavor? No, I think it's obviously something Dabney had laying around that they are trying to adapt to the medical cannabis marketplace.
