Lets do some hypethticals here.

In this instance i will pretend im derrick peterson and own 700,000 thousand shares of trtc that i can not sell for a set period. One thing for certain is management wants the share price to increase.

Now i just bougt 10,000 shares for 18k

If that buy influence the share price by 10. Cents then i made money with that buy even though i lost on the price of those 10,000 shares i can now sell the other 690k shares for 10 cents more . Or $69k more.

Just saying think from all angles
