DeBeers announced the installation of a new LC Diamond facility here in the US. Like $400mm I believe it was, based on CVD technology.
That tech was patented like 30 years ago and it was Alvin who was instrumental in the development of those patents. Can you imagine creating a brand new facility that will be running on 30 year old tech?!
Lol. Yeah. I’m sure they’ll come knocking...
