You sir, are worse than Hitler. Spreading your toxic masculinity and white male privilege with dog whistles to racist, sexist, homophobes about testosterone and muscle mass.

Science proves that the herbivore diet of the great apes is far superior to the carnivore diet of humans. That is why great apes live so much longer than humans.

If you are not willing to do it for your health then consider the planet. The only thing worse than plastic straws is cow farts and you, Hitler are responsible for it.

In all seriousness, I was skeptical of the Keto diet when I first heard about it but after doing some research from real world participants I decided to give it a try. Not just for weight loss which I suddenly find myself needing after a decade of sitting in front of a computer most of the day and reaching my 50's; but also for mental alertness and increased energy that comes from the state of Ketosis.

I choose to take the word of real world participants over the gov't funded scientists because the later gave us the food pyramid that is full of problems and they also give conflicting stories over time. If you are eating something that they currently say is bad for you, just stick with it because the next study will show the opposite.

I have never been on a diet before but I started this one 3 days ago. I have a bulletproof cup of coffee in the morning. Avoid sugar and starches. Eat leafy greens and other low starch vegetables in addition to protein provided by meats.

I have already lost 7 lbs and I can feel my appetite being suppressed. I don't even feel like eating lunch so I instead drink a concoction of carbonated water with some apple cider vinegar, pink salt, a product called no salt, some lemon juice and a packet of stevia. Then I am fine until dinner.

I don't know if I have reached a state of Ketosis yet and am producing ketones but I am starting to have some of the short term side effects from the Keto diet. Cloudy brain and minor headaches plus some differences in restroom routine if you know what I mean. These will go away after I have rid my body of the glucose and my body adapts to being fueled by fats.

It is already working for me so I am a believer. I don't intend to stay on it forever but I do plan to continue avoiding processed sugar. Once I reach my weight target I will likely add starches to my diet because I love rice and potatoes etc. Plus I love chili and I use beans in mine. But if I ever find myself gaining weight again, I will go back to the diet just for short term weight loss.

The Keto diet makes perfect sense to me but if I ever decided I wanted to devolve to the great apes I would definitely cut out meat consumption.
