- Mr. Chasey advised this was a shareholders' petition for the appointment of a custodian. His client was sought abandoned corporations that had residual value. Furthermore, in the fact that this company was previously registered with the FCC; there value in the entity. Moreover, there was no business and they had made efforts to reach out to the officers. Additionally, because the action proceeds under Chapter 78, Judge Earley sent this matter to this Court to decide whether this was complex business court case; in his opinion it was not. It was requested that this Court keep this case without the designation of complex business court. COURT NOTED this matter would not be classified as a business court matter. It would remain in the general civil litigation and remain in front of this Court for efficiency. COURT ORDERED, status check SET regarding the status of the case. Mr. Chasey advised Judge Earley did not rule on their initial application for the appointment of custodian. Further, it had been served in early July and they had not received a response.
