Hey 1234, the Paulson deal is open only to accredited investors. A person must make $200k + for the past 2 years or have over $1 million in assets. Yes, these investors had the ability to buy CYDY for 50 cents a share plus warrants but these investors had to commit a minimum chunk of change (probably at least $25k) to invest in CYDY.
So not just anyone could buy CYDY for 50 cents.
