nothing wrong with pulling your chips in and getting a fresh entry.

when they go up this fast and the RSI red hot it's hard to believe it can go any further without a big retraction. Or even hold for that matter.

But,

When the whole sector gets into a big foamy uptrend I've found that quite often the "favorites" at the time don't retract enough to make it worth it, and quite often one just ends up with less shares going higher.

(for me, doing average-in-average-out works best)

I expect a lot of red tomorrow for the ones that overshot today. At the same time I didn't feel all that compelled to do a lot of selling today like I had on spikes during the sector downtrend.

tomorrow should be informative.
