Furthermore, if CVSI as a company can stay financially solvent they are also an acquisition candidate. It cheaper for big pharm to buy them then it would be to compete against them starting from scratch.
Big pharms margins on OTC's and non-brand are not their bread and butter. For example, try finding a pharm rep selling Prozac these days. You can't because it doesn't make money. A thirty days supply will cost you $4 at Walmart - even without insurance.
