E-Trade will reverse your fee.
At first they will say they can not, then just point out that you will transfer the stocks out and close your account, and they do.
They told me it was a Federal Law, I told them to Cite the code. Of coarse, it is just an internal revenue generation machine.
Don't take NO for an answer.
