I think you are right! Based on Jan 10th PR 'The sulfide heap leach process is expected to present a low capital low-risk option that the Company believes could be operational relatively quickly' and additional board of directors.

Just a pure speculation:
If Randy has shown the door and taken up 'Uber driving Job - no one will hire this thief' John Ellis who was appointed into board, might have already taken over CEO position.

Same goes to 'Michael Harrison' to replace Steven Jones.

Let us hope we see some good news.

Not sure why any of the original share holder would accept what company Executive did to take company private and change share holders to Warrant holder.
