HMMR Could Provide Tracking Network for Driverless Cars in Rural Areas

(NEW YORK)– Hammer Fiber Optics Holdings Corp. (OTCQB:HMMR) has all the makings to develop a tracking network, such as a digital traffic cop, for the coming explosion of driverless cars and drones, especially in more rural areas.

Hammer Fiber recent acquisition of spectrum licensing in the 3.5 GHz band from 3.650 GHz 3.700 GHz is part of Hammer Communications efforts to focus on its proprietary Wireless AIR technologies ability to support a variety of wireless applications.
Hammer’s wireless system is already capable of working in the CBRS band, in conjunction with numerous other frequencies, Hammer Communications now has a head start in future CBRS development and has reached a major milestone in their “Everything Wireless” approach to broadband and data connectivity.
The Company recently signed a deal with AI VentureTech, and New York based Artificial intelligence research firm, to assist them in developing a team to develop a 5G Cloud Platform off their broadband network. (read more)

This could open the door for HMMR to build a number of applications for autonomous vehicles and drones to assist them in tracking locations, and operations, especially in more rural areas. Most of these driverless vehicles may operate off the main 5G networks being developed by such names as Verizon and AT&T, but HMMR’s expertise to operate into more rural areas out of these signals could make them the carry-over carrier to allow driverless operations into rural communities, and areas where the larger carriers don’t cover.

With 2019 expected to be a major year for the roll-out of driverless cars and 5G then HMMR is one stock to watch as possible trade in this area.
