Do you really think that a buyout is realistic ?
I think a buyout is not likely to occur.
The starting point during buyout negotiations is always the current market price which is quite depressed. It is unlikely that a BP would pay more than 2 or 3 times the current market cap which would be about $1 per share given the current SP. Not a big deal!
Since the buyout price would be low I don't see Leo capitulating and selling the company for such a low price given his oversized ego and personal dreams of grandeur. I think his personality will drive him to an "all or nothing" strategy which is very dangerous for us shareholders.
