Theres so much media manipulation over sonos, It's not allowing it to break. I'm a professional integrator for over 13 years. People call me and request sonos all that time. I used to used private control systems with built-in music streaming and zone audio. I fought the Sonos brand for over 5 years at first conception thinking i couldn't make money selling and installing sonos. To date, if i don't sell sonos as a whole house audio package, I will be out of the zone audio business. I no longer sell the music package from Crestron, URC Total Control, Control4 or Elan. Alll those manufactures are now having to change all their programming protocol to accept the sonos platform. THAT SAYS ALOT. fast forward 13 years later, I do not recommend any music streaming device other then Sonos. It just works right the first time and ZERO return service calls. It's the most user friendly system on the market. Goolge, Amazon, Denon, etc... Will never compare to what sonos created. I feel i lost more money in the first 5 years of conception when sonos came out by not believing in the system. I install systems across 40 different countries, every client requested/demands sonos. Trust me, there is huge manipulation through the media and paid facilitators holding this stock down. Cramer keeps slamming it, but do your research, he owns competitive stock such as Amazon and google. You don't think Bezo is has his way with media. He owns the Washington Post, think about it people. Start buying, trust me, it will explode and hold high in share value. We just finished a 90 zone sonos system integrated into URC's Total Control. Had we used Total Control, it's would be 3/4 more in price and not user friendly. Anther great point about sonos, If it's attached and integrated into a control system and that control system goes down, you can simply fire up the sonos app and continue on as nothing happened. Now go call Crestron, Denon, URC, Control4 and Elana and ask one simple question. If my control system goes down with your embedded music sits, will i lose my music. The answer a fat YES, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY MUSIC PLAYBACK WHILE THE CONTROL SYSTEM IS DOWN. That point alone, made me drop any embedded audio within a control system. I love sonos, it literally skyrocket my business. So don't believe the negative hype, understand theres a lot at stake in the market. REMEMBER, EVERYONE IS TRYNG TO CATCH UP WITH SONOS, STRATEGICALLY THEY ARE ALWAYS A FEW YEARS AHEAD OF THE GAME. note i did not use competition because i believe there is no competition. Go play with sonos and then go try all the imitators, Case Closed!
