Historically, certain greenhouse tenants of TURV growing cannabis have had a somewhat cavalier attitude with respect to rental payments. So right now, the company is growing hemp on open land for its own account on a small number of acres which without much work could easily be expanded to 200 water fed acres from sundry sources including the Orlando Reservoir.
The math seems compelling. One can grow 1600 plants per acre each generating one and a half pounds per plant. That crop can then be sold for processing into cannabidiol for medicinal and research purposes for $10 per pound.
So applying himself to his trusty abacus Ming multiplies 1600 plants per acre by one and a half pounds by 200 acres equaling a 480,000 pound crop selling at $10 a pound resulting in $4,800,000. Ming was told that TURV has 2,000 fertile acres that once watered becomes available for planting. He remembers very little after that since he fainted dead away although he does recollect visions of pushing a wheelbarrow brimming with coin of the realm into his money bin.
