I'll have to then go back and reread the article. My impression from having read it was that he stepped down from his position to take a different position within the ptab. You stated he was fired. I tried to find info on said firing. I couldn't find anything that said, like you did, that he was fired. What I did find, is the article from which I took the quote, which sounded to me to support the idea he was not fired and was in a different ptab position. I will try to find the article & take a better look. Perhaps you could show something that says he was fired.
